“Listening to Youth Voices, Hope and Aspirations to access to secure land in Sub-Saharan Africa.”
Data4youth LAND ACCESS Proposals
We are excited to share some information with you regarding the Data4Youth Land Access project that YILAA has developed and invite your organization or institution to participate in launching the pilot study phase of the project. We are planning to begin the study in 4 pilot countries (Tanzania, DRC, Senegal and Benin) before expanding to cover a total of 20 countries across Sub-Saharan Africa. We have developed the attached proposal in partnership with Global Land Alliance, who has provided expertise in collection and analysis of land-related data.
YILAA has been working for some time to defend and promote the land rights of youth and women and have noted the lack of youth-sensitive land data in Africa, data that would help inform both donor initiatives and government policy reforms.
The estimated budget per country is US$99,495, or US$397,980 for the four pilot countries. Your partnership will enable your Organization to incorporate high-quality data analysis that includes your specific areas of work into your decision making and design of project activities for the benefit of the people of Africa.
We look forward to speaking with you in more detail at your convenience, to explore how we can collaborate on this pilot study. The ILC Africa has been accepted to collaborate with us on this program. What’s about you?
