The active participation of youth in land mapping is critical in fostering sustainable development and environmental stewardship. Youth can play a significant role in hashtag#land hashtag#mapping through various innovative and impactful ways:
1. Technology Integration: Youth are generally adept at using modern technology, including smartphones, GPS devices, and drones. These tools can be utilized for accurate and efficient land mapping, capturing hashtag#data that can be processed with geographic information systems (GIS).
2. Community Engagement: Young people often have strong connections within their communities and can mobilize local residents to participate in mapping projects. This can include gathering traditional knowledge, identifying hashtag#landmarks, and ensuring that maps reflect the lived realities of community members.
3. Innovative Solutions: Youth can bring fresh perspectives and hashtag#innovative approaches to land mapping. That why Mr Innocent Antoine Houedji as the Youth Initiative for Land in Africa (YILAA) Director, He has participated to the FIG WORKING IN ACCRA FROM 17 to 24 May to strengthen the relationship between FIG Young Surveyors Network (YSN) and hashtag#YILAA and raise the voice through the sessions about the place of young land professionals in the mapping works.
