PartnersNews: On July 7–9 in Accra, the Network of Excellence on Land Governance in Africa -NELGA Alumni Conference brought together researchers, alumni, and strategic partners for two days focused on translating research into practice and strengthening the impact of alumni networks in land governance across Africa.
From a thought-provoking keynote by Dr. Joan Kagwanja (African Land Policy Centre) on the role of applied research, to interactive panels on alumni partnerships and youth-led initiatives, the sessions brought fresh dialogue, collaboration, and commitment.
As Dr. Kagwanja emphasised, “The ongoing collaboration between the alumni_network and the African Union Commission is crucial, as this partnership will not only benefit the network but also help the AUC fulfill its mandate.”
Also, Youth Initiative for Land in Africa (YILAA) voice was also heard through our Coordinator Innocent Antoine HOUEDJI during this conference.
